About Marble Mountain Expeditions: Founded in 1981, Marble Mountain Expeditions has been leading people into the wilderness areas of the Western U.S., Baja California, and Ladakh for more than 25 years. Each trip, whether it is to a remote mountain range in Idaho, a desert trek through Escalante Canyon, or a Himalayan expedition is carefully crafted to emphasize and contrast the natural aesthetics of the wild landscapes through which we are passing.

Based on some property on a wild and scenic river in northern California, Marble Mountain Expeditions has provided a sensitive introduction to becoming competent and confident in the wilderness to more than 1,000 patrons. Its mission is to enhance patrons’ receptivity to the resources that natural areas have for enriching them.
